Unified AI Architectures: Consolidating 2,000+ Healthcare Models into a High-Reliability Deployment Framework
Deploying AI in healthcare requires navigating extreme complexity; doing so at scale requires a fundamental shift in architecture. Over the past year, Vizient confronted a unique challenge: how do you operationalize more than 2,000 custom healthcare models tailored to diverse patient populations without creating unsustainable deployment overhead, fragmented monitoring, and inconsistent lifecycle management?
In this session we will share how we engineered a unified architecture and deployment framework that standardizes how thousands of models are packaged, orchestrated, validated, and promoted across environments. We will focus on the architectural patterns and MLOps practices that made large-scale healthcare AI more reliable, traceable, and operationally consistent, without relying on fragmented model-by-model delivery patterns.
