Chi has 15+ years of research experience in Computer Science. Chi is the creator of AutoGen (Now AG2), a popular and rapidly growing open-source framework for agentic AI, with multiple awards such as best paper of ICLR’24 LLM Agents Workshop, Open100, and TheSequence’s pick of 5 favorite AI papers in 2023. Chi is the creator of FLAML, a widely used open-source libraries for AutoML and tuning. Chi has worked on large language model and AI frameworks, automated machine learning, machine learning for systems, scalable solutions for data analytics and data science, and knowledge mining from text data and graph data (with a SIGKDD Data Science/Data Mining PhD Dissertation Award).
