She currently serves as Director of Products at UGenome AI, where she leads cross-functional teams across product, marketing, and AI/ML to advance genomics-driven health solutions. Komal is also the Founder and CEO of Mednoia, a Seattle-based healthtech startup developing Pneumi, a smartphone-based multimodal AI platform designed to detect lung cancer risk and assess respiratory health in populations including those historically excluded from standard screening protocols. Pneumi combines acoustic lung analysis, digital biomarker detection, and geospatial environmental risk mapping into a low-cost, accessible screening tool built for community and clinical settings.
