Pharma LLM evaluation metrics: a GxP-compliant evaluation and human-in-the-loop review framework
Large language models (LLMs) are being adopted across pharmaceutical research and development to assist with adverse event narrative generation, clinical site identification, regulatory document authoring, and health authority query responses. No established framework exists for evaluating the quality of these outputs against pharmaceutical-specific quality standards, and current adoption lacks the audit trail infrastructure required under Good Practice (GxP) regulations.
